Important Tips :-

1.  Be well groomed.  

2.  Do not shake hand too ferociously.  

3.  While giving your introduction – Don’t use ' myself XYZ  ' Say My name is XYZ or I 
am XYZ. an Introduction must be given confidently.  

4.  General Etiquette to observe during interview   

• Dont lean on table , 
• Maintain eye contact while talking ,  
• Sit straight and not slouch on the chair ,   
• Do not  complain if you have to wait long for their turn , 

5.  Use please and thank you in your conversation  

6.  If you  dont understand the question you should say  ' Pardon me sir / maam , or 
“could you please repeat the question “.Dont say  '' uh ''  ''what '' “ what did you say 
“ which is not correct and gives a poor impression .  

7.  Don’t make faces or take out your tongue.  




8.  Use proper English terms while conversing ,  

• Say"take" the test , not "give" the test 
• Use the word ‘sibling ‘and not  ‘I have a brother and sister’  
• Use ‘I hail from’  and not ‘ I belongs to ‘ 
• Say ‘yes ‘ instead of  YA YA  
• Say ‘ I don’t have a problem ‘ Not “ I have no any problem “ 

9.  Go through your CV and correct all mistakes.  

10. Be prepared with examples , to justify your CV eg Hobbies , Projects ,  

11. Write all technical skills in the correct form.
